Taught in Los Angeles · Working in Phuket

The dog you havecan become thedog you wanted.

Reactivity, pulling on the lead, a dog who will not listen: none of these is a permanent condition, whatever the last trainer told you. Development begins with an assessment, in person in Phuket or online from anywhere.

Who is Kim

A second chance to do
what she loves

  1. It started in a cubicle

In 2019 she was sitting at a desk. Two and a half years later she owned a World of Dog Training branch in South Bay Los Angeles. What she said on the day it opened: “Thank you for a second chance to do what I love.”

  2. She learned in a hard room

Board and develop, behaviour modification, separation anxiety protocols: she worked all of it. The protection work she did alongside one of the more serious working-dog crews in Southern California.

  3. Then she came home

Kim is Thai. She came back to Phuket carrying a standard she had learned somewhere else, and she has not lowered it since.

Jeremy Hayes is a dog trainer with years of experience working with dogs of all breeds, ranging from family pets to high-drive working dogs. His approach is rooted in balanced training, using the appropriate tools and methods for the individual dog while keeping the owner's lifestyle and goals at the center of the training.

His experience extends into advanced working-dog development, including obedience, behaviour modification, protection and bite work, detection, and dog sports. One of his proudest accomplishments has been developing his explosive detection K9 from the ground up, successfully completing a certified detection course and going on to work real-world events as a K9 team. He has also trained and titled dogs in multiple dog sports, continuing to expand his knowledge across different areas of the working-dog world.

What Jeremy enjoys most about training is that no two dogs are exactly alike. Regardless of breed, every dog brings its own personality, drives, strengths, and challenges, and he believes becoming a better trainer means learning how to bring out the best in the individual dog in front of him.

Why a PPD

Why a protection dog
outperforms an alarm

When the job is keeping a family safe, a smart security system no longer covers it. Cameras and alarms are reactive by design; they sound after a window has broken or a lock has given way, and the family then waits precious minutes for help to arrive. A personal protection dog works ahead of that moment. It is a living shield, intelligent and fiercely loyal, and it stops a threat before it reaches the doorstep. Here is what the evidence says about a dedicated family guardian.

Invest in protection that does more than watch over your family. It stands between them and harm.

The 1% selection funnel

Why an elite guardian is a
premium investment

When you invest in a personal protection dog, the hours of training are the smaller part of what you pay for. You are paying for a genetic rarity. Fewer than 1% of all dogs have the neurological blueprint, the environmental confidence and the rock-solid temperament that protecting a family requires. We filter out the other 99% so that you take no risk with your family's safety. The funnel below is how a dog reaches that last 1%.

  1. Stage 1 · Top 10%The genetic baselineWe look past the traditional guardian breeds and source only from world-class, purpose-bred working lines. Even inside those litters the genetics divide. We evaluate hundreds of green prospects for natural stability, clear-headed focus and an innate desire to protect, which is a different thing from aggression driven by fear.
  2. Stage 2 · Top 5%Environmental nerveA protection dog has to be steady in every environment, so our prospects go through rigorous environmental stress testing. A dog that flinches at a sudden loud noise, hesitates on a slick floor, loses focus in a dark room or shows anxiety in a chaotic urban crowd is disqualified on the spot. Our dogs must work flawlessly anywhere your family goes.
  3. Stage 3 · Top 2%Civil maturity over equipment fixationMany dogs will bite a padded sleeve in a sport ring because they treat it as a game of fetch. A family guardian needs the psychological maturity to bypass the equipment and engage a human threat under intense pressure. We select only the rare, clear-headed dogs that understand the difference between sport and real-world defence.
  4. Stage 4 · The elite 1%Flawless social stabilityThe final test of a personal protection dog is how it switches off, and that matters as much as how it fights. The last 1% must live in complete social harmony: gentle, patient companions that can cuddle with your children and welcome invited guests, and that become a fearless shield the moment you give the command.

We reject dozens of high-quality dogs so that the single guardian entering your home is an uncompromising asset to your family's peace of mind.

What Phuket sells

Prices are in Thai baht, converted from the California list at ฿33 to the dollar and rounded to the nearest hundred, and bookings go through Kim. A cancellation inside 24 hours costs ฿2,000. Maintenance is sold by the month and by level. Pick the tier that matches where the team is, and the cost of each session falls the more you train. Prices are in Thai baht, converted from the California list at ฿33 to the dollar and rounded to the nearest hundred.

  1. Tier 01 · Up to 6 lessons a month

    Foundation

    ฿11,500a month

New puppies, basic obedience and early environmental socialisation.

Six lessons would cost ฿19,800 at the drop-in rate. Attend four and the membership has paid for itself; attend all six and each session comes to about ฿1,900.

    About ฿1,900 a session

  2. Tier 02 · Up to 8 lessons a month

    Intermediate

    ฿18,100a month

Advanced obedience, public access skills and a first introduction to drive.

Eight lessons would cost ฿26,400 at the drop-in rate. Use the full allowance and each session comes to about ฿2,300.

    About ฿2,300 a session

  3. Tier 03 · Up to 10 lessons a month

    Advanced Protection

    ฿26,400a month

Controlled bite work, decoy integration, scenario training and deployment drills.

Ten lessons would cost ฿33,000 at the drop-in rate. This tier carries the decoy equipment, the field setups and the insurance that bite work requires, and it is priced for the handler who needs high-frequency tuning.

    About ฿2,600 a session

Unused lessons expire at midnight on the last day of the billing cycle and do not carry over. A membership needs a card on file and renews automatically, on a three-month or six-month initial term. Non-members pay the drop-in rate of ฿4,000 to ฿5,000 a session.

Maintenance training

The dog leaves. The standard stays

Every dog we sell and every dog that finishes a programme is eligible for maintenance, and we would rather you used it. A finished dog that goes twelve months without work is not a finished dog any more.

Monthly maintenance

For dogs we sold and dogs we finished

  • A monthly tune-up session with a trainer
  • Scenario work to keep the responses honest
  • Priority scheduling ahead of general bookings
  • Handler support between sessions

Performance boarding

While you travel

  • Maintenance work every day the dog is with us
  • A conditioning programme rather than a kennel run
  • Your dog comes home sharper than it left

Annual re-certification

For personal protection dogs

  • A full re-test against the standard the dog was sold on
  • A written report you can keep on file
  • Any gaps corrected before they become habits
